The Road to Hell is Paved with Good Intentions

This powerful proverb comes from my late Mother- who repeated it to me whenever I made a commitment or promise I didn’t keep. I never forgot it, and remind myself of it often. In a world where talk is cheap, lots of people say things they don’t mean- often times to make themselves feel good, or just to “Yes” someone else to get out of a situation. Being a man or woman of your word can give you a great reputation- but the opposite is true if you’re not.
